'Why Not Now?'
A simple question, right?
But man -- you learn so much from asking that one simple question.
As in, you want to start that new blog.
You've been wanting to for oh, so long.
Hmm, you wonder, why not now?
What would happen?
It's not an accusing or exasperated 'why.'
It's a loving, curious one.
And that's the one that makes things happen.
You.
You have this wonderful thing to let go free into the world.
But it's hard to do that on your own.
It's hard to keep up the momentum, to recognize all the little wins along the way, to step out of the emotional turmoil for just a bit and look at your project with curiosity and openness.
That's why we're going to do it together.

'Why Not Now?' is a small-group workshop that makes it possible to move from idea to Real Thing in only two weeks.
However.
It is not a get-off-your-ass program.
Emphatically no.
In fact, 'Why Not Now?' alumna Joy Agcongay called it 'gently intense.'
When we ask 'Why Not Now,' we're asking in a loving, curious way.
You learn more about your relationship with your project, which in turn enables you to move forward with your project.
It's true.
Here's what happens when we ask, 'Why Not Now?'
- Me, I created the Secret Play Date DIY Kit, something that had been on my back burner for months.

A powerful seed.
This morning I finally finished tinkering and photo-editing and launched my doll project! I am slightly terrified, super proud, and then slightly terrified again by turns. I'm also letting go of a lot of perfection-itis (but but but shop banner! but but but next round of photo edits! etcetera) and calling it *done.*
I just know that all of this great progress wouldn't have been possible without working through my worries and processes for the past couple weeks of this program. I guess it planted a pretty powerful seed. -- Jesse Keen

It's also not a fool-proof system for getting things done.
Another emphatic no.
It's not a system at all.
You'll experiment with a number of tools and techniques, but if something's not right for you -- twist it around and adapt it, or drop it. It's totally okay.
And me, I'm not an expert.
I'm your fellow-traveler, your co-conspirator, your fan.
I'll be working on my own project during 'Why Not Now?' right alongside you.
I don't have all the answers.
You do. You have it within.

The webpages-they are updated! I have needed to do this since at least March, AND NOW THEY ARE FINISHED!
And I just realized that I've actually been working on another WNN project w/out realizing it.
I've been needing to switch doctors for quite a while now, but it just seemed to hard. However, a couple of days ago I was suddenly inspired to speak up in a Dr.'s appt. and say, "Hey, it's really too far for me to keep coming here-is there anyone close to me that you could recommend?"
And I finally, FINALLY, made an appointment to get a new sleep doctor.
Oh, one more thing-I've had "get the carpets cleaned" on my to do list for months, but Tuesday I was finally inspired to call, and they had an appointment first thing in the AM yesterday, and now my house is BEE-YOU-TEE-FULL :) -- Jenny Ryan

The details:
- Two-week intensive online workshop.
- Three group check-in calls, up to an hour long, each at 6 PM Eastern Time (What time is this for you?). (For call dates, see below where each session is listed.)
- A 90-minute Secret Play Date - ordinarily exclusive to the Society of the Secret Play Date - an hour to play with your project, with check-ins at the beginning and end, for accountability, cheering, and sharing of crayons. (For call dates, see below where each session is listed.)
- A prelude class, 'Meet Your Project,' to start you on your way to clarity and ready you for 'Why Not Now?' If you sign up after 'Meet Your Project,' you'll receive the recording. This is a free class that is open to all, and will include people who will opt not to take 'Why Not Now?'
- Recordings of all five of the calls. If you can't make the live calls, that's okay. With these recordings, you'll be a part of the group, and can follow everyone's progress. You can listen to these mp3s over and over, whenever you need them.
- Two recordings from certified hypnotherapist and life coach Shannon Wilkinson (Perception Studios). Shannon's seemingly magical mental exercises have helped me personally get through all kinds of overwhelm, inertia -- you name it.
- One 15-minute audio companion created especially for 'Why Not Now?' that helps you interact and move forward with your project.
- One 54-minute audio that includes an exercise for quieting the mental chattter and a recording of live group coaching around that issue.
- A private Facebook group for exercises, brainstorming, and support that extends beyond our two weeks together. You'll have access to the group for another four weeks following the end of our session.
- A virtual toolbox of techniques, and resources in PDF form, that you'll use long after the workshop is over - you'll receive the toolbox at the end of our time together.
